Travel Storyteller, Founder at Climate Conscious Travel
Shivya Nath is an award-winning travel writer, working at the intersection of sustainable tourism, climate action and social impact. She holds a Master’s in Sustainability from Harvard University (DCE), where her research focused on climate adaptation in the tourism sector. She runs a popular sustainable travel blog, The Shooting Star, and her work has been published in BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, The Washington Post and other publications.
She is a recipient of multiple Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Awards. Shivya is also an educator, teaching workshops and self-paced courses to both urban and rural audiences, with an aim to create a world where travel storytelling is more conscious and inclusive of diverse voices. She is the founder of Climate Conscious Travel, where she works with destinations and businesses on climate storytelling, research and education.
